Patrick Murphy founded Breakline Coaching to pursue his life’s passion of empowering others to achieve true success in their personal and professional lives. His success and experiences in his personal life and career have created a truly unique individual passionately dedicated to others’ growth and success.
During his twenty plus years in the pharmaceutical research and development industry at such companies as GlaxoSmithKline and Covance, he mastered key skills required to lead employees and manage a successful business.
From this foundation and a lifelong commitment to personal growth, he turned his energy towards professional coaching. Patrick holds two coaching certifications: Professional Certified Coach (PCC) from the International Coach Federation (ICF) and Certified Professional Coach (CPC) from iPEC. In addition, he is certified in four industry assessment tools: Emotional Quotient Inventory (EQ-I 2.0 and EQ360), Hogan Leadership Assessment, Advance Practitioner of the Team Diagnostic Survey (TDS) and Master Practitioner of the Energy Leadership Index (ELI-MP). Using assessments, proven tools, and techniques he works with individuals and teams to unlock their full potential. With an emphasis on holding individuals accountable to achieve their desired goals, this process dramatically improves performance, addresses development needs, helps navigate through significant decisions and transitions, and assists in the delivery of large strategic projects. His energy, passion, and witty sense of humor create a journey of self-discovery and development that is both enjoyable and exciting.
Patrick holds a bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Delaware and resides in Collegeville, PA. He has been married for 25 years, has two adult children, and a small but ferocious schnoodle named Libby. When not working, he enjoys boating, fishing, meditation, reading, and woodworking.
